three photos that inspire me

they inspire me because all three represent a part of me. Wedding because I am a wedding photographer and I love to see two people unite through love and I get to be a part of that. Leaf, is because even though we are surrounded by people we still feel alone. Providence sign, because that is where I am from.

3 images that inspire me

This image inspires me because of its natural appeal. The photo gives the viewer a sense of empowerment. I get the feeling that with this photo we have the power to understand and help restore the natural landscape.
This photo inspires me because I find the coloring and lighting effects to be extremely captivating. The womans gaze is so intense with the illuminated pupils it draws the viewer in.

This photo is inspiring because the artistic quality to this is much more than the photo manipulation. At first glance it is hard to orientate yourself as to what exactly is going on where. The pose of the woman is very interesting because of the peaceful asthetic.

Emily's 3 Images that Inspire

These three images are very inspiring to me. I love the fact that each of these images are open for individual interpretation. The photographers have incredible imagination that is apparent in their photographs.

This photographer I was fortunate enough to stumble upon. Her name is Rosie Hardy and believe it or not, these are all self portraits. The way she is not only able to set up the photo but also digitally enhance it in an odd but believable fashion, is what makes her work really stand out from others.

What inspires my about the three photos I have chosen by David Hill is his use of multiple layers, colors, and the overall aesthetic of the photographs. David manages to make something out of nothing and takes multiple photographs and composes them in what almost looks like a painting. With even the most subtle touches, David makes the photographs look astounding and truly captures the sense of adventure.

I'm greatly inspired by Eric Wicks' quote.
" For a solution to be truly sustainable and good it must have a positive return to the environment and society. At the heart of any design problem is a question:  Are we trying to make something less bad or are we trying to make something better?.... It's not just about solving for the negative; It's about creating a positive."
Reason being is that last semester I designed three dresses for the Eco-Chic fashion show. This fashion show promoted the awareness of Green fashion. The best way to sustain a garment or any garment is to reuse or redesign the materials. Therefore, I took a 1940's wedding dress and redesigned it into three of my own designs.
This is the original  1940's wedding dress. This is also  the original photo with a little contrast and text.
This is one of my favorite photos. I love the details and the angle of the photo.
This is the result of recycling a 1940's wedding dress.

Hello,

My name is Pakou Lee.

I grew up in Providence, Rhode Island. However, I was not born here. I was born in Thailand, and lived there until I was 7.

Here are some cool facts about me; I’m adventurous, I love to skydive and I belong to an adventurous club in Boston, MA. I design and donate my time to community services through Canstruction, Recycling Center of Rhode Island and SideWalk Sam. I grow organic vegetables and Asian spices. I’m interested in architecture, textiles and photography. I also love photo editing.

In three years’ time I would like to be… to be honest I really don’t know. However, I would like to master sewing, and photography. Maybe one day, opening up my own line of jewelry or clothing, and selling my photography work. Life is a curved ball and I’m really not sure of what’s in my path, but if I fail I’ll aim higher. My expecting in this course is to get as much knowledge about photography as I can. To understand the process, development, color,  and editing.
